Male Reproductive System

The male reproductive system is responsible for producing, storing, and delivering sperm. Major parts include:

Testes: Produce sperm and testosterone.
Scrotum: Sac that holds and protects the testes.
Vas deferens: Carries sperm from testes to urethra.
Penis: Organ used for urination and sperm delivery.
Prostate gland: Produces fluid that nourishes sperm.

Female External Reproductive System

The external reproductive organs in females are collectively called the vulva. They protect internal organs and help during sexual intercourse and childbirth.

Labia majora: Outer folds of skin that protect the inner parts.
Labia minora: Inner folds of skin that protect the vaginal and urethral openings.
Clitoris: Sensitive organ important for sexual pleasure.
Vaginal opening: The entrance to the vagina; also the birth canal.
Urethral opening: Opening from which urine exits the body.

Female Internal Reproductive System

The internal female reproductive system consists of organs involved in egg production, fertilization, and childbirth. These include:

Ovaries: Produce eggs (ova) and hormones like estrogen and progesterone.
Fallopian tubes: Transport eggs from ovaries to uterus; where fertilization occurs.
Uterus: Where a fertilized egg implants and develops into a fetus.
Cervix: Lower part of uterus that opens into the vagina.
Vagina: Muscular canal that connects cervix to the outside of the body.
